RockHard Weekend Review
RockHard Weekend, as its name implies, is a male enhancement pill designed to improve sexual performance and deliver “on-demand results.”
This all-natural formula is advertised as a fast, safe, and effective solution for giving you a “recreational edge” in the bedroom. Even if you don’t have a problem, RockHard Weekend is promoted as a way to make you the “life of the party,” offering on-demand results you can have a bigger, and better sexual experience.
Yet is RockHard Weekend the best way to improve your performance?
RockHard Weekend consists of your typical proprietary blend of popular male enhancement ingredients. Many of which are based more on fads than actual research. Additionally, the fact that the formula uses a proprietary blend should always send up a red flag. If you don’t know how much of each ingredient is used, how do you know whether or not the product will be effective?
Horny Goat Weed: contains phytochemicals that mimic the effects of testosterone in the body. Although it won’t increase muscle strength or mass, it may improve libido and aid in erectile dysfunction.
Rutaecarpine Root: or Evodia extract, acts as a stimulant and thermogenic, and many believe that it can act as a natural treatment for nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. However, there is not enough information to know if evodia is safe to use on a regular basis, and it may interact negatively with caffeine.
Maca Root: is a superfood rich in fatty acids and amino acids that may be beneficial to your overall haelth. Traditionally, it was used to treat female hormonal imbalances and menstrual problems, though higher dosages (1500 mg to 3000 mg) may be able to effectively stimulate libido. Even if this proprietary blend had nothing but maca root, it would not be enough to promote reliable results.
Long Jack Root: or Eurycoma Longifolia, is clinically proven to increase testosterone levels in rats. However, human studies still need to be conducted.
Huanarpo Macho:acts as an aphrodisiac, anti-asthmatic, and anti-diabetic herb that will supposedly treat male sexual impotency. It’s dubbed the Peruvian Viagra, though further research needs to be conducted in order to validate its performance.
Chuchuhuasi: or catuaba bark, is a traditional Brazilian aphrodisiac and stimulant. It contains various alkaloids believed to enhance sexual function, but like many other ingredients in the formula, this ingredient needs to be studied and tested.
Catuaba Extract: I’m a little confused as to why the manufacturers listed the same ingredient twice on their label. Chuchuhuasi and Catuaba Bark are essentially the same ingredient. Unless the ingredient processing involved various concentrations of the individual alkaloids – which should have been listed on the label – it seems unusual that manufacturers didn’t catch this error.
Tribulus Terrestris: is possibly one of the most widely used ingredient in male enhancement products and testosterone boosters. Preliminary studies reveal that Tribulus Terrestris can raise the levels of testosterone in the human body, but at the risk of negative side effects such as nausea and upset stomach.
Is It Safe to Use?
By themselves, the above ingredients shouldn’t put you at too much risk for negative side effects – a little nausea, constipation, or diarrhea perhaps – but nothing serious or life-threatening.
However, there may be an additional ingredient inside RockHard Weekend that turn this sub-par formula into an entirely different supplement.
Back in 2009, the FDA issued a nationwide recall on RockHard weekend due to the fact that it contain the ingredient sulfoaildenafil, an analogue of sildenafil, an FDA -approved supplement for Erectile Dysfunction. This classified RockHard Weekend as an unapproved drug, and not surprisingly, RockHard Weekend was shown to react negatively with prescription drugs known as nitrates and can cause dangerously low blood pressure.
The company, RockHard Laboratories advises “any customers in possession of RockHard Weekend to return any unused product for a full refund to the company directly.” To read more about the recall, you can click here.
Additionally the company made the following statement about the recall:
“RockHard Laboratories takes the upmost pride in its quality control by outsourcing production to a certified, independent lab. It is through this outside lab that RockHard Laboratories maintains the highest quality standards possible and can quickly take action. RockHard Laboratories has identified that one of the lab’s raw ingredients, sourced from China, was being unknowingly tainted with sulfoaildenfil.”
Supposedly the product has since been reformulated for safety’s sake, do you really want to take the risk of using a tainted product?

What Are Consumers Saying?
RockHard Weekend has mixed reviews. There are a lot of men who have had great success using the testosterone booster. However, there are also plenty of complaints about ineffectiveness.
“This product does work. I have tried all the other over the counter pills for male enhancement and this one works the best.”
“This stuff works and I’ve never had any issues down there. Now I have to clear my schedule for at least two (2) days. Don’t take this product if you are only “hoping” to get lucky. Learned that lesson the hard way, pun was not intended. Line up those recreational activities and enjoy. Additionally, if it doesn’t work, immediately seek medical attention, you got other serious issues.”
I’m not sure that you should take Mr. Recreational’s medical advice but he seemed to enjoy RockHard Weekend. Not everyone is as pleased with the testosterone booster as he was.
“I took one as the label said expecting big results… Never happened, it did a little something. Not like the label said it would. I took two expecting to get the results they said. It did better, but I have taken products that work a lot better.”
Other customers actually experienced no results at all from RockHard Weekend like these gentleman.
“This product did nothing but give me a headache”
“Bought to use on a special weekend. Took one on an empty stomach and all…..NOTHING! Took a second one 3 hrs later…..NOTHING!”
More About RockHard Laboratories
The makers of RockHard Weekend are based in Alpharetta George and despite the fact that the FDA issued a recall on their product, they received a high scale on the Better Business Bureau, ranking a B on a scale of A+ to an F.
In the last 3 years, only 1 complaint had been issued and closed involving problems with their products and services, and from what I could tell through my research, they did supply full refunds for their tainted products.
RockHard Weekend seems like an “iffy” formula at best. The ingredients are common to male enhancement products, but they’re listed in a proprietary blend. The FDA issued a recall, but the company as since resorted to alternative ingredient suppliers in order to ensure the quality of their ingredients. The reviews are mixed, so it’s hard to tell if this product is a winner or not.
